Azerbaijan and Laos Reaffirm Strong Ties with Cambodia via Milestones Congratulatory Messages

Azerbaijan and Laos have reaffirmed their close friendships and commitment to expanding cooperation with Cambodia through congratulatory messages sent to Senate and Cambodian People's Party (CPP) President Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen.
In a letter dated June 25, H.E. Tahir Budagov, Deputy Chairman and Head of the Central Office of the New Azerbaijan Party, congratulated Samdech Techo Hun Sen on the 75th anniversary of the CPP’s founding.
Budagov praised the ruling party's pivotal role in driving Cambodia’s socio-economic progress and elevating its international standing. He also welcomed the growing ties between the New Azerbaijan Party and the CPP, highlighting Cambodia's participation in the international peacebuilding conference held in Shusha on June 15.
Budagov expressed confidence that party-to-party cooperation will continue to deepen for the mutual benefit of both nations.
Separately, Lao National Assembly President H.E. Xaysomphone Phomvihane sent a message marking the 70th anniversary of Cambodia-Laos diplomatic relations, which were established on June 15, 1956.
H.E. Xaysomphone extended warm congratulations to Samdech Techo Hun Sen and the members of Cambodia’s National Assembly, noting that seven decades of traditional friendship have delivered tangible benefits to both peoples. The Lao legislative leader reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening their comprehensive, long-lasting strategic partnership and expressed confidence in the future growth of inter-parliamentary solidarity.
The two messages underscore Cambodia's continued engagement with regional and international partners through both diplomatic and party-to-party cooperation, reflecting efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and promote mutual development.
