Cambodia and Israel Forge Digital Health Alliance to Transform Universal Care
AKP Phnom Penh, June 25, 2026 --
Cambodia and Israel have pledged to turn their healthcare partnership into actionable reforms, targeting universal health coverage, equity, and an inclusive system that leaves no citizen behind.
The commitment came Wednesday during talks between Cambodian Health Minister H.E. Prof. Chheang Ra and newly appointed Israeli Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia H.E. Ms. Alona Fisher-Kamm, who outlined joint priorities including digital health, medical tech, workforce training, early childhood and autism care, and emergency medicine.
As Cambodia pursues Universal Health Coverage (UHC), it is tapping Israel’s cutting-edge innovation to strengthen resilience and service delivery. The collaboration aims to merge Cambodia’s reform drive with Israeli expertise – building a robust system capable of comprehensive, tech-enabled care for all.
