AKP Phnom Penh, April 23, 2026 --

H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, has encouraged cooperation between the public and private sectors in developing tourism products, promoting Cambodia on the international stage. 

He made the remarks while receiving a courtesy call from Mrs. Choub Mean, Chief Executive Officer of Town Entertainment Group, along with her colleagues at the Ministry on April 22. 
During the discussion, Mrs. Choub Mean briefed H.E. Minister on past cooperation between the Ministry and the company, as well as the company’s strong commitment to contributing to the promotion of Cambodia’s tourism sector.

This includes producing promotional content, entertainment programmes, and organising sports, arts, and cultural activities to attract more international tourists to visit Cambodia, she said. 

For his part, H.E. Huot Hak welcomed and supported the company’s commitment to contributing to tourism promotion, recognising it as an important factor in enhancing the creativity and competitiveness of Cambodia’s tourism sector both regionally and globally. 

He emphasised that the Ministry of Tourism remains open to collaboration with partners and relevant stakeholders in the tourism sector, in order to help elevate Cambodia’s reputation as a safe, beautiful, and attractive destination on the international stage.

The Minister also encouraged stronger cooperation between the public and private sectors to work together with the Ministry in developing new tourism products.
