Cool Down with Pich Chenda Waterfall
AKP Phnom Penh, February 27, 2025 --
Pich Chenda Waterfall in Cambodia's Battambang province boasts its all-year-round cool ambiance and waterfall to bring in more visitors during the seasonal dry season with high temperatures, especially the Khmer New Year in April.
Mr. Muth Vicheka, a resident in Battambang city, said that he and his family and friends visited the waterfall for the second time this year, as he could not help getting chilled by the stunning and cool waterfall.
Ms. Bou Savon, who runs an eatery offering a broad range of local dishes, shared that there are always visitors to the waterfalls, especially during the weekends.
She invites more visitors to experience their rest and reunion at the resort with the freezing waterfall.
As preparations for the celebration of the Traditional Khmer New Year come in less than two months, the local authorities and community members whose livelihoods depend on the natural tourism resort are starting to renovate the area and services there.
Pich Chenda Waterfall is located along the Ratanak Mondul district, about 20 kilometres from Battambang provincial town.
