Cambodia's Siem Reap Provincial Governor H.E. Prak Sophoan has met separately on Feb. 5 with the senior delegations of the Australian Embassy and Consul General of Thailand in Siem Reap to discuss cooperation.

The Governor and H.E. Derek Yip, Australian Ambassador to Cambodia, exchanged insights on cooperation in health, education, and the environment.

The Australian ambassador congratulated the governor on the successful Siem Reap-Angkor Summit on a Mine-Free World and reaffirmed Australia’s support for Cambodia’s ambition to free the country of landmines.

The Governor and Consul General of Thailand in Siem Reap Mr. Narut Soontarodom hoped to support each other to promote more Thai visitors and investors to Siem Reap.
