Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung to Pay Official Visit to Cambodia This Week
AKP Phnom Penh, October 6, 2026 -- H.E. Le Minh Hung, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, will undertake an official visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia from Oct. 9 to 10, 2026, at the invitation of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC) on Tuesday, during the visit, H.E. Le Minh Hung will be granted Royal Audiences by His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, and Her Majesty Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk, at the Royal Palace.
The Vietnamese Prime Minister will also pay separate courtesy calls on Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, and Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly.
He will also hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, during which the two leaders will discuss ways to further strengthen the close relations between Cambodia and Viet Nam and expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
They will also exchange views on various regional and international issues of common interest.
The official visit is expected to further consolidate the cordial relations between Cambodia and Viet Nam, reinforce the bonds of solidarity, and reaffirm the shared commitment of the two countries to further strengthening and deepening their bilateral ties, emphasised the MFAIC.
