Malaysian Armed Forces Chief to Pay Official Visit to Cambodia

Chief of Defence Force of the Malaysian Armed Forces H.E. Gen. Tan Sri Dato' Seri Haji Malek Razak Sulaiman and his spouse will pay an official visit to Cambodia from July 8 to 11 at the invitation of H.E. Gen. Vong Pisen, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF).
According to a press release of the RCAF High Command AKP received this morning, the Malaysian military chief will pay courtesy calls on Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence H.E. Gen. Tea Seiha and Senate President Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen during his stay.
H.E. Gen. Vong Pisen and his Malaysian counterpart will also hold bilateral talks to discuss measures and activities aimed at further strengthening and expanding defence cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries.
The visit marks another important step in reaffirming the commitment of the Cambodian and Malaysian military leadership to enhancing friendship and bilateral military cooperation, the statement added.
