Cambodian NA President Congratulates CPC on 105th Anniversary, Reaffirms Strong Cambodia-China Ties
AKP Phnom Penh, July 03, 2026 -- President of the National Assembly (NA) of Cambodia, Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, has extended warm congratulations to the Communist Party of China (CPC) on the occasion of its 105th founding anniversary, while reaffirming the enduring friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Cambodia and China.
In a congratulatory letter addressed to H.E. Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, Samdech Khuon Sudary praised the CPC's decisive role in reforming and modernising China and connecting the country to the international community.
She noted that China has become an important pillar for global peace, stability, and prosperity, expressing confidence that under the leadership of the CPC, the country will achieve its goal of becoming a prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced, harmonious, and beautiful modern socialist nation by 2049, the centenary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
The NA President underscored the close relationship between the two nations, stating that China's success is also Cambodia's success and that the Cambodian people are proud to celebrate the CPC's remarkable achievements alongside the Chinese people.
“Our ironclad friendship is always resilient and thriving amid uncertain global transformations. Our all-weather community with a shared future continues to flourish, delivering concrete benefits to our two peoples,” she underlined.
Samdech Khuon Sudary also emphasised the growing parliamentary cooperation between the two countries, saying that stronger legislative ties are contributing positively to the well-being and livelihoods of their citizens.
The NA President expressed her commitment to continue working closely with H.E. Zhao Leji and his colleagues to further advance the shared goals and interests of both nations.
