National University of Management Ranked 46th Among World’s Top 500 Innovative Universities

Cambodia’s National University of Management (NUM) has been ranked 46th among the world’s Top 500 Innovative Universities in the 2026 World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI).
The recognition highlights NUM’s growing reputation for innovation, quality education, digital transformation, and human resource development aligned with global trends and demands.
According to an announcement released on May 7, 2026, by the Hanseatic League of Universities (HLU), the organisation behind the WURI rankings, NUM secured the 46th position in the WURI 2026 Global Top 500 Innovative Universities ranking.
In addition to the overall ranking, NUM earned Top 100 Innovative Programme rankings in 10 categories, demonstrating its strong performance across multiple areas of higher education innovation and institutional management.
The university ranked first globally in Infrastructure/Technology and second in University Brand and Reputation. It also placed eighth in Empowerment-Based Management and 31st in Entrepreneurial Culture and Ecosystem.
Other rankings included 44th in Crisis Management, 49th in University-Based Entrepreneurial Projects, 54th in Cost-Effectiveness Management, and 73rd in Culture and Values.
NUM was also ranked 76th in Digital and AI Transformation in Strategy and Management and 95th in Curricular Innovation for Future-Readiness.
The university said the achievements reflect its continued commitment to improving educational quality, promoting innovation, strengthening institutional management, and developing digital resources to meet labour market demands and prepare students for the future of higher education in an evolving global economy.
