Siem Reap to Host “Cambodia-China Martial Arts Performance” This Week

The “Cambodia-China Martial Arts Performance” will be held at the northern area of Bayon Temple in Siem Reap province on April 30, according to the Ministry of Tourism.
The event, scheduled to begin at 7:00 a.m., will feature spectacular performances of traditional Khmer martial arts, including Kun Lbokator, Yuthkun Khom, and Khmer boxing, alongside Chinese martial arts such as Shaolin Kung Fu and Tai Chi.
More than 1,000 national and international guests are expected to attend the event, which will be open to the public free of charge.
On April 27, a delegation of 16 monks from the Shaolin Temple of the People’s Republic of China arrived in Cambodia to participate in the performance. They were warmly welcomed at Techo International Airport by officials from the Ministry of Tourism.
The “Cambodia-China Martial Arts Performance” reflects the longstanding relations between the two countries and is expected to further strengthen friendship, solidarity, and cooperation in various sectors, particularly culture and tourism.
