CCC, Rwandan Ambassador Discuss Trade and Investment Cooperation
AKP Phnom Penh, March 21, 2026 —
The Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC) and the Embassy of the Republic of Rwanda have discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in trade and investment.
The discussion took place in Phnom Penh on Mar. 20 between Neak Oknha Lim Heng, Vice-President of the CCC, and H.E. Bakuramutsa Nkubito Manzi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Rwanda to Cambodia, with residence in Seoul.
The meeting aimed to promote economic, trade, and investment cooperation between the two countries.
Neak Oknha Lim Heng highlighted that the meeting provided a valuable opportunity to enhance economic ties between Cambodia and Rwanda. He also briefed the Ambassador on the CCC’s role as a representative of the private sector and a key dialogue partner of the Royal Government.
He noted that the CCC has actively co-organised numerous business events, both domestically and internationally, under the presidency of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, to attract foreign direct investment and expand business opportunities.
For his part, H.E. Bakuramutsa Nkubito Manzi expressed his appreciation for Cambodia’s rapid development. On his second visit to the Kingdom, he observed significant progress in infrastructure, including high-rise buildings and the new international airport, which he described as a symbol of modernisation.
Looking ahead, the Ambassador expressed interest in strengthening cooperation in digitalisation, information and communication technology (ICT), and agriculture.
He also announced plans to lead a business delegation to Cambodia in November during the Francophonie Summit, aiming to further expand trade networks and cooperation between the two nations.
