AKP Phnom Penh, March 02, 2026 --

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has revealed that Cambodia will host the 20th Francophonie Summit in Phnom Penh from Nov. 15 to 16, 2026.

The date and venue were confirmed during a meeting held here on Mar. 2 between Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and visiting H.E. Ms. Louise Mushikiwabo, Secretary-General of the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF).

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the progress of preparations for the upcoming summit, including key logistical arrangements, and reviewed ongoing efforts and close coordination between Cambodia and the OIF to ensure the success of this major international event, scheduled to take place in eight months’ time.
