MOWRAM Warns of Foggy Weather Conditions from Jan. 22 to 31
AKP Phnom Penh, January 21, 2026 --
The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology (MOWRAM) has issued a public notice warning of foggy weather conditions across Cambodia from Jan. 22 to Jan. 31, 2026, following its monitoring, analysis, and forecasting of weather patterns.
According to the notice released last night, temperatures are expected to drop during this period, accompanied by fog affecting several regions, including the southern central lowlands, plateau areas, mountainous regions, as well as coastal and seaside zones.
The fog is expected to be most intense at night and in the early morning, but will gradually dissipate by around 9:00 a.m. each day. The phenomenon may cause reduced visibility, potentially affecting road users and travellers.
In light of these conditions, MOWRAM called on the public and local authorities to exercise high vigilance to avoid possible risks or disruptions resulting from reduced visibility.
The Ministry added taht it will continue to closely monitor and analyse weather conditions and will provide further updates should there be any changes.
