MoU Signed to Promote Technical Skills and Diversifying Career Opportunities
AKP Phnom Penh, January 13, 2026 -- The Industrial Technical Institute (ITI), and a number of ten associations, companies, and educational institutions have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for strengthening technical skills and diversifying career opportunities.
The MoU signing ceremony was held on Jan. 12 under the presidency of H.E. Haing Tola, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training (MoLVT), with the participation of leaders and representatives from relevant partners totaling 110 people.
The large-scale collaboration focuses primarily on improving the training system, ranging from developing curricula tailored to company needs and providing internship opportunities, to staff recruitment and the provision of scholarships for students and technical officials.
Under the MoU, partnered institutions will send experts to serve as instructors and guest speakers to share hands-on experience in the classroom and supervise theses, while the institute’s instructors will also have the opportunity to gain direct practical work experience within the industrial sector, the ministry added.
They will cooperate in research and competency testing and assessment to ensure high-capacity human resources that meet the Ministry’s standards.
