AKP Phnom Penh, January 05, 2026 -- The Government of the Republic of Serbia has provided US$500,000 in humanitarian financial assistance to Cambodia.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC) of the Kingdom of Cambodia expressed its profound appreciation to the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the generous humanitarian assistance.
“This timely contribution stands as a clear reflection of the solidarity and compassion demonstrated by the Government and people of the Republic of Serbia, under the leadership of the President and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, toward the people of Cambodia,” the Ministry stated in a press release issued this afternoon.
It further highlights the enduring traditional bonds of friendship and cooperation that have united the two nations for nearly seven decades, the MFAIC underlined.
“The Royal Government of Cambodia attaches great importance to the long-standing and cordial relations with the Republic of Serbia and reaffirms its firm commitment to working closely with the Serbian side to further strengthen and broaden bilateral cooperation across areas of mutual interest, for the shared benefit and well-being of both peoples,” concluded the Ministry.
