Thai forces today deployed a new weapon, identified as the DTI-2, in attacks against Cambodia’s territorial integrity, said H.E. Lt. Gen. Maly Socheata, Spokeswoman of the Ministry of National Defence.

Speaking at a press briefing this afternoon, the Spokesperson stated that Thai forces used the DTI-2 to launch attacks on battlefields in Preah Vihear province from 1:37 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

In response, Cambodian Armed Forces and National Police forces have continued to stand firm, brave, and vigilant in confronting the aggressor, steadfastly fulfilling their duty to safeguard Cambodia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, she underlined.
