AKP Phnom Penh, December 09, 2025 --  

The Ministry of Health (MoH) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) signed here on Dec. 9 a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen a resilient and inclusive healthcare system in Cambodia.

The MoU signing ceremony was held under the witness of H.E. Prof. Chheang Ra, Minister of Health and UN Assistant Secretary-General and Regional Director for Asia and the Pacific Mrs. Kanni Wignaraja.

H.E. Prof. Minister spoke highly of the UNDP’s contribution and support, both technical and financial, for Cambodia’s health sector.

He also expressed deep gratitude to UNDP for consistently standing with Cambodia to promote the development of the health sector toward sustainability and equity.

H.E. Ms. Kanni Wignaraja stated that the MoU will contribute to modernising the health sector through digital innovation and establishing a sustainable health financing system.
