Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet travelled to the western province of Banteay Meanchey today, engaging directly with residents in key border communities to assess local concerns and reaffirm the Royal Government’s commitment to security and development.

The Prime Minister held meetings with residents in O’ Beichoan commune, especially Prey Chan and Chouk Chey villagers, O’ Chrov district, Banteay Meanchey province, and with villagers from Kamrieng and Boeung Reang communes in Kamrieng district, Battambang province. During the visit, he inquired about their livelihoods, security conditions, and local development priorities.

A central theme of the Prime Minister's visit was a strong commendation of the military and police presence in the area. He publicly expressed his "deep appreciation" to the Banteay Meanchey provincial unified command and all branches of the armed forces for their dedication in safeguarding territorial integrity and ensuring public safety.

He specifically praised their intervention and problem-solving efforts in local challenges, particularly citing the work in Prey Chan and Chouk Chey villages as "effective and carried out with a high level of sacrifice."

In return, the Premier thanked the residents for their "trust, support and patience" toward the Royal Government as it executes its duties to protect national interests and territorial integrity.
