Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Hun Many Meets ASEAN Youth Delegation Ahead of Japan Programme

Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Hun Many met today with a delegation of youth representatives selected for a major regional exchange programme in Japan.
The Deputy Prime Minister, who also serves as Minister of Civil Service, hosted the courtesy call at the Royal School of Administration.
The delegation from the Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Association (SSEAYP Cambodia) will participate in the 49th Ship for Southeast Asian and Japanese Youth Programme (SSEAYP), scheduled in Japan for January 2026.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Civil Service and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, alongside the youth delegates and leaders of SSEAYP Cambodia.
In his address, H.E. Hun Many congratulated the delegates on their selection for the prestigious programme, which fosters mutual understanding and cooperation among youth from ASEAN nations and Japan. He underscored the delegates' role as national representatives and stressed the importance of commitment, competence, and a strong sense of national responsibility.
Drawing from his own experience, the Deputy Prime Minister encouraged the participants to actively promote Cambodia’s culture, values, and potential while engaging with their regional peers. He further urged them to leverage the knowledge and networks gained from the programme to contribute to Cambodia's development upon their return.
H.E. Hun Many concluded by extending his best wishes for a successful journey and a productive engagement in the upcoming SSEAYP initiative.
