Cambodia-Thailand Joint Survey Team Begins Photographic Mapping between Border Posts 42 and 47
AKP Phnom Penh, November 19, 2025 --
The Cambodia–Thailand Joint Survey Team on Nov. 19 began creating a photographic map using drones to capture images between border posts 42 and 47 in O'Beichoan commune, O'Chrov district, Banteay Meanchey province of Cambodia, and Sa Kaeo province of Thailand.
After completing this task, the Joint Survey Team will proceed with installing temporary border markers in the designated area.
Earlier, on Nov. 18, the heads of the Cambodian and Thai technical operation teams met at the Poipet International Border Gate to prepare the implementation plan in accordance with the recently approved Technical Instruction.
The installation of temporary border markers between posts 42 and 47 is being carried out in line with the outcomes of the Cambodia–Thailand Joint Boundary Commission (JBC) Meeting held on Oct. 21–22, 2025.
