AKP Siem Reap, October 21, 2025—

H.E. Heng Sour (Pic. 1), Cambodian Minister of Labour and Vocational Training, delivers his remarks while he was presiding over the opening ceremony of the 21st ASEAN Senior Labour Officials Meeting (21st SLOM), held in Siem Reap provincial city this morning, with the participation of senior labour officials from the ASEAN member countries, both in person and online.

This is the second time for Cambodia to host the ASEAN Senior Labour Officials Meeting, the first being in Phnom Penh in 2012. This meeting is aimed to reaffirm the shared goal of strengthening ASEAN’s workforce, which is inclusive, sustainable, resilient and future-ready.
