CCCC Pledges Continued Support for Cambodia's Infrastructure Development

China Communication Construction Company (CCCC) has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Cambodia’s infrastructure development, aiming to enhance the country's transport sector competitiveness and contribute to national economic growth.
Mr. Chen Zhong, Vice President of CCCC, made this pledge during a courtesy call on Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet at the Peace Palace this afternoon.
He expressed gratitude to the Royal Government of Cambodia for its continued support of CCCC’s operations in the country. He said that China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC)—a CCCC subsidiary—has been active in Cambodia for over 20 years, creating more than 30,000 jobs, constructing over 2,000 kilometres of roads, and contributing to social development projects, including school and rural road construction.
For his part, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet expressed satisfaction with the productive collaboration between CCCC and relevant Cambodian ministries and institutions. He highly valued the company’s contributions to Cambodia’s infrastructure sector, which is a key driver of economic growth.
The Premier emphasised the Royal Government’s high attention and necessary mechanisms and plans to support the country’s infrastructure development. He also encouraged CCCC to continue good and closer cooperation with relevant Cambodian ministries and institutions to further advance Cambodia’s infrastructure network.
