The East Entrance of Angkor Wat Temple Reopened
AKP Phnom Penh, April 01, 2025 --
The APSARA National Authority (ANA) has announced the reopening of the east entrance of the Angkor Wat Temple in Siem Reap province starting from Mar. 31.
The announcement sought cooperation from relevant ministries, national and international institutions, and tour operators to further disseminate the update.
The reopening of the east entrance of Angkor Wat Temple aims to welcome local as well as foreign tourists, especially during the upcoming celebration of the Khmer New Year.
Built in the 12th century by King Suryavarman II (1112-1152 AD), Angkor Wat Temple is one of the largest religious monuments in the world, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the most visited complex at the Angkor Archeological Park in Cambodia's Siem Reap province.
