H.E. Ms. Tekreth Kamrang, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Commerce, received here on Mar. 27 a courtesy call from Ms. Reehana Raza, Regional Director for the Asia and the Pacific Division at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), and her colleagues.

The meeting touched on key achievements of the implementation of Accelerating Inclusive Markets for Smallholders (AIMS) Phase 1.

Both sides also discussed IFAD’s support for carrying out the AIMS Additional Financing, to enhance the prosperity of Cambodian smallholder farmers through increasingly profitable links to agribusinesses and markets for eight commodities, including rice, chicken, vegetables, cassava, premium rice, Khmer chicken, safe vegetables, and safe spices.

Furthermore, both parties also addressed preparations for the IFAD Implementation Support Mission (ISM) in early April 2025 and the mission of the IFAD Independent Evaluation Office in late April 2025.
