Cambodia, U.S. committed to Combating Transnational Crimes
AKP Phnom Penh, January 31, 2025 --
Cambodia and the U.S. are committed to fostering more cooperation on justice, mainly on law enforcement, and fight against transnational crimes, particularly cybercrimes and human trafficking.
The commitment was made in a meeting between H.E. Koeut Rith, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice, and Mrs. Bridgette L. Walker, Chargé d'affaires a.i of the U.S. Embassy in Phnom Penh on Jan 30.
H.E. Koeut Rith spoke highly of the fruitful achievements of cooperation between Cambodia's Ministry of Justice and the U.S. Embassy in Phnom Penh.
Mrs. Bridgette L. Walker thanked the minister for his warm welcome and appreciated the effort in law enforcement cooperation between the two countries.
