Samdech Thipadei HUN Manet to Pay Official and Working Visits to Azerbaijan, Türkiye and Kazakhstan and Attend the 7th CICA Summit from October 12 to 17, 2026
AKP Phnom Penh, October 10, 2026 –
Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, will pay official and working visits to Azerbaijan, Türkiye and Kazakhstan from Oct. 12 to 17, 2026, and attend the 7th Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), according to a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation on Saturday.
The Prime Minister will be accompanied by First Lady Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet and a high-level delegation, including H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Youth and Sport, other ministers and senior government officials, as well as members of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce.
During the 7th CICA Summit on Oct. 15, Prime Minister Hun Manet will exchange views with other leaders on the theme “Stronger CICA: Connectivity, Digitalisation and Sustainable Growth in Asia.” He is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with leaders of other CICA member states on strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation.
On Oct. 16, the Cambodian Prime Minister will pay a working visit to Türkiye and meet with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to strengthen the longstanding relations between the two countries and exchange views on regional and international issues of common concern.
On Oct. 17, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet will travel to Astana, Kazakhstan, for official bilateral talks with the country's top leaders on promoting bilateral cooperation.
The visits are expected to provide fresh momentum for strengthening and expanding Cambodia's friendly relations and cooperation with Azerbaijan, Türkiye and Kazakhstan.
