A leading South Korean manufacturer of drone batteries and drone technology plans to lead a business delegation to Cambodia to explore cooperation opportunities with both public and private sector institutions.

The proposal was highlighted during a courtesy meeting recently, at the Royal Embassy of Cambodia in Seoul, where H.E. Khuon Phon Rattanak, Cambodian Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, met with Mr. Park Janghwan, Managing Director of NEO Battery Materials Ltd.

Established in 2021, NEO Battery Materials Ltd. specialises in producing batteries designed for all types of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in South Korea.

During the meeting, Mr. Park, who engineered South Korea’s first commercial drone test operations, expressed strong interest in leading a delegation to Phnom Penh to establish strategic cross-border partnerships.

In response, Ambassador H.E. Rattanak welcomed the company's initiative, noting that Cambodia holds significant potential and growing demand for drone technology applications across various key socio-economic sectors.
