AKP Phnom Penh, April 02, 2019 --

Cambodia will host the 8th Asia Golf Tournament at three golf courses in Siem Reap province.

To take place from April 3 to 5, the event will attract some 562 national and international athletes who are tycoons and big investors from 45 countries. 

H.E. Chea Bora, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Tourism and Secretary General of Cambodia Golf Federation (CGF), addressed in a recent conference that the event intends to further promote Cambodia’s golf tourism.

It, he added, also contributes to making Cambodia ready for the SEA Games 2023 that the Kingdom will host.

As a side-line of the tournament, there will be also a gathering of over 400 sellers and buyers for the showcasing of trip packages.

Mr. Petor Walton, CEO of International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO), underlined that the hosting of the golf tournament reflects Cambodia’s peace, political stability and development.
