For his part, Mr. Brian McFeeters stated that the purpose of the delegation's visit to Cambodia is to strengthen cooperation between the American private sector and stakeholders, as well as to seek new investment opportunities to support Cambodia's economic development.
He highlighted the interest and readiness of American companies to invest in Cambodia, especially in digital finance, human resource development, and support for small and medium enterprises.
The representative of the U.S. Embassy in Cambodia highly valued the NBC’s role in maintaining the stability of the banking system, modernising the payment system, and strengthening the regulatory framework, which has contributed to enhancing investor confidence and creating a favourable environment for investment in Cambodia.
