Cambodian King Extends Deep Condolences to President Xi Jinping Over Deadly Floods

His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia has sent a message of profound condolence to Chinese President H.E. Xi Jinping following the devastating floods, torrential rains, and landslides that have ravaged multiple regions across China, causing significant loss of life and widespread destruction.
In his royal letter dated July 13, 2026, His Majesty shared his deep sadness over the tragic fatalities, injuries, displacement, and severe damage to homes and infrastructure.
Her Majesty Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk joined His Majesty in expressing heartfelt condolences to President Xi and the Chinese people.
His Majesty expressed firm confidence that under the leadership of President Xi Jinping, alongside the Communist Party of China, the State Council, and the People's Liberation Army, the Chinese people will swiftly overcome this adversity.
The King voiced his hope that rapid relief, recovery, and reconstruction efforts will soon restore normalcy and hope to the devastated communities.
"Our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy are with the bereaved families, those who have been injured, those who remain missing, and all those facing the hardship and suffering caused by this devastating natural disaster."
