Cambodia Earns US$367 Million from Rice Exports in First Half of 2026

Cambodia earned over US$367 million from milled rice exports in the first six months of 2026, shipping 630,319 tonnes to 64 destinations, according to a report released on July 9 by the Cambodia Rice Federation.
Europe remained the Kingdom's largest market by value, with exports of 179,828 tonnes of milled rice worth more than US$121 million, stated the report.
China imported 170,483 tonnes valued at US$99.67 million, while five ASEAN member states purchased 228,780 tonnes worth US$98.90 million.
Cambodia also exported 51,228 tonnes of milled rice, valued at US$46.8 million, to 24 other markets, including countries in Africa and the Middle East.
Fragrant rice continued to dominate Cambodia's rice exports, accounting for 59.81 percent of total milled rice shipments during the period.
White rice represented 22.58 percent, followed by broken rice at 14.35 percent. Organic rice accounted for 1.24 percent, parboiled rice made up 1.82 percent, while other rice varieties represented the remaining 0.2 percent.
In addition to milled rice, Cambodia exported more than 2.77 million tonnes of paddy rice in the first half of the year, generating estimated revenues of US$597 million.
