AKP Phnom Penh, May 25, 2026 -- The Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia (UYFC) has announced that it will organise a “Day of Reckoning” programme aimed at promoting national reflection on Cambodia’s past and encouraging unity and national development.

According to an announcement issued on Monday by the UYFC, the event seeks to remind Cambodians of the hardships the country has endured and transform past suffering into motivation for strengthening human capacity and nation-building, while firmly rejecting extremism and revenge-driven attitudes.

The event is scheduled to take place on May 28, 2026, at the National Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh, beginning at 5:00 p.m.

The event will be presided over by H.E. Deputy Prime Minister Hun Many, President of the UYFC.

Participants will include UYFC vice presidents, members of the Standing Committee and Central Committee of the organisation, UYFC members nationwide, as well as members of the public.
