Foreign Representations in Cambodia Wish His Majesty the King a Speedy Recovery

Foreign representations in Cambodia have extended their best wishes for the health and recovery of His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia.
In a statement issued on April 11, the European Union Delegation to Cambodia joined the Cambodian people in wishing His Majesty a full and speedy recovery.
“As the Kingdom prepares to celebrate Khmer New Year, we hope this New Year brings renewed strength to His Majesty and continued harmony to all Cambodians,” read the statement.
On the same day, the British Embassy in Phnom Penh also conveyed its wishes for His Majesty’s swift and full recovery, along with a steady return to good health.
“Our thoughts are with the Royal Family and the people of Cambodia at this time,” the embassy said.
Meanwhile, the Australian Embassy expressed its warmest wishes for His Majesty’s good health, happiness, and longevity.
“We send His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, our warmest wishes and heartfelt thoughts for his good health, happiness and long life. We hope that Khmer New Year brings peace and prosperity to His Majesty’s beloved nation,” it stated.
Turkish Embassy in Cambodia also wishes His Majesty a full and speedy recovery and extended its warmest wishes and heartfelt thoughts for his good health, happiness and long life.
According to a royal message issued on Friday, His Majesty will extend his stay in Beijing for an additional one to two months for treatment and recovery, following medical advice from doctors in the Chinese capital after being diagnosed with prostate cancer.
