Cambodia, Türkiye See Greater Potential to Expand Cooperation

Outgoing Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye, H.E. Ms. Ülkü Kocaefe, told Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet that Cambodia and Türkiye still have significant potential to further expand bilateral cooperation.
H.E. Ms. Ülkü Kocaefe made the remarks during a farewell visit to Samdech Thipadei at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh this morning.
During the meeting, the outgoing Turkish diplomat expressed her pleasure at having fulfilled her diplomatic mission in Cambodia and at gaining a deeper understanding of the country’s people, culture, and rich civilisation.
She also briefed the Prime Minister on the achievements made during her tenure, which have contributed significantly to strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the fields of economy, trade, education, and culture.
H.E. Ms. Ülkü Kocaefe emphasised that both nations still have considerable potential to further expand cooperation across various sectors.
In response, Samdech Thipadei expressed his high appreciation for the ambassador’s diplomatic mission in Cambodia.
The Prime Minister commended her efforts in promoting Cambodia-Türkiye bilateral relations and welcomed her observations on the opportunities and potential for enhanced cooperation, noting that these would contribute to further strengthening ties between the two countries.
