AKP Siem Reap, September 22, 2026—

Angkor Equinox (sunrise over the central tower of the Angkor Wat Temple) in Siem Reap province attracts large crowds of national and international tourists this morning.

The phenomenon occurs twice annually: during the vernal equinox from Mar. 21 to 23 and the autumnal equinox from Sept. 21 to 23.
