Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister to Attend the Board of Peace’s Inaugural Meeting in U.S. and Visit Europe
AKP Phnom Penh, February 14, 2026 -- Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, will lead a high-level delegation to attend the Inaugural Meeting of the Board of Peace, to be held on Feb. 19, 2026 at the Donald J. Trump U.S. Institute of Peace in Washington, D.C., United States.
According to a press release issued this morning by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the meeting will mark the formal commencement of the Board's mandate, in accordance with the Resolution of the United Nations Security Council adopted on Nov. 17, 2025, which aims to promote peace and advance efforts towards the reconstruction in Gaza.
In addition, the participating leaders are expected to engage in broad discussions on regional and global peace, stability and development.
During his stay in Washington, D.C., the Prime Minister will hold bilateral meetings with some U.S. dignitaries and leaders of other countries to exchange views on strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across various sectors.
Samdech Thipadei also plans to undertake a working visit to Europe, including Geneva and Brussels, where he will meet with prominent leaders and key stakeholders to further enhance partnerships and collaboration.
