Royal Government Honors Fallen Soldiers, Reaffirms Commitment to Their Families

Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet reaffirmed that the Royal Government of Cambodia places the highest importance on honoring the heroism and sacrifices of fallen soldiers who gave their lives in defence of the nation.
The Prime Minister, accompanied by his spouse, Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony, met with and extended condolences to the families of 18 fallen heroes, including members of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, the Royal Gendarmerie, and the National Police, from Oddar Meanchey province, during a gathering held on Friday afternoon in Siem Reap province.
On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei emphasised that the Royal Government deeply remembers and remains profoundly grateful for the sacrifices made by fallen service members in safeguarding national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
He also stressed the Royal Government’s continued commitment to supporting the families of fallen heroes, particularly in terms of livelihood assistance, education opportunities for their children, and the restoration of family economic stability following the loss of their primary breadwinners.
On behalf of the Royal Government, the Prime Minister expressed his sincere appreciation to the families of the fallen soldiers, recognising their vital contribution to the nation through the bravery, loyalty, and unwavering determination demonstrated by their loved ones in service to Cambodia and its people.
