AKP Phnom Penh, February 12, 2026 --
H.E. Hem Vanndy, Minister of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation, on Feb. 11 received a delegation from Angkor Dairy Products, producer of Angkor Milk, welcoming the company’s growing investment and contribution to Cambodia’s consumer goods manufacturing.
H.E. Minister commended the company as a good taxpayer and a key domestic producer serving Cambodia’s consumption needs, emphasising that dairy products are among the Royal Government’s strategic goods. He encouraged the company to continue expanding to strengthen Cambodia’s manufacturing independence in these strategic consumer goods and reaffirmed MISTI’s readiness to support its continued growth.
Mr. Koy Sovann, Director of Sales and Marketing, reported that Angkor Dairy Products was established in 2015 with an initial investment of US$15 million, and has since expanded its capital to US$75 million. Currently, the company employs around 600 workers and serves consumers nationwide through approximately 50,000 sales channels and a 600-member business-to-business network.
The company also announced plans to introduce new pasteurised milk products and new machinery, while expanding dairy farming and contract farming with local families—an initiative expected to generate about 200 additional jobs.
The Minister encouraged Angkor Dairy Products to strengthen local sourcing across its supply chain and explore broader collaboration with MISTI, including joint R&D in food science, packaging development, and industrial waste management. He also invited the company to showcase its innovations at the 4th National Day of Science, Technology & Innovation.
During the meeting, Angkor Dairy Products donated 1,000 cases of milk to MISTI for humanitarian and charitable purposes.
