PM Reaffirms Royal Government’s Commitment to Strengthening Education Sector

Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has reaffirmed the Royal Government of Cambodia’s strong commitment to further enhancing and improving the quality of education nationwide.
The Prime Minister made the remarks on Tuesday morning during a get-together with some 3,020 students who recently achieved Grade A in the baccalaureate examination and those who earned Level 3 Technical and Vocational Diplomas. The event was held at the Chroy Changvar International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Phnom Penh.
On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei expressed his high appreciation for all students, particularly those who are children of frontline soldiers, and encouraged them not only to strive for academic excellence but also to continue studying diligently to build strong human capital for national development.
In the 2024-2025 academic year, a total of 122,473 candidates – representing 84.5 percent of the 144,848 examinees – passed the national high school examination.
Among the successful candidates, 3,003 obtained Grade A, 9,901 received Grade B, 28,801 Grade C, 45,859 Grade D, and 34,909 Grade E, while others earned Level 3 Technical and Vocational Diplomas.
