AKP Phnom Penh, November 18, 2025 --
Heads of the Cambodian and Thai technical operation teams met on Nov. 18 at the Poipet International Border Gate to discuss the implementation plan in accordance with the recently approved Technical Instruction.
The meeting followed the Joint Boundary Commission (JBC)’s approval of the instruction, according to a senior official from Cambodia’s State Secretariat of Border Affairs.
A joint survey team from both countries will soon inspect the designated area and proceed with the installation of temporary border markers between border posts No. 42 and No. 47 in O’Beichoan commune, O’Chrov district, Banteay Meanchey province, Cambodia, and Sa Kaeo province, Thailand.
The work is being conducted in line with the outcomes of the JBC meeting held on Oct. 21–22, 2025.
