Cambodian Leaders Mourn Civilian Killed in Thai Military Attack

Senate President Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen and Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet have expressed their deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences to the family of Mr. Dy Nai, 36, who was killed by Thai military gunfire during yesterday’s attack.
In their separate condolence messages today, the two leaders described the death of Mr. Dy Nai as the loss of a good Cambodian citizen who upheld a strong sense of patriotism until the end of his life.
They praised his courage, patriotism, and love for peace, stressing that his noble deed will forever remain in the hearts of his family and the Cambodian people.
They concluded their messages with prayers for the soul of Mr. Dy Nai to rest in peace.
On Nov. 12, the Thai military launched a brutal and inhumane attack on Cambodian civilians in Prey Chan village, O’Beichoan commune, O’Chrov district, Banteay Meanchey province, leaving three civilians injured and one dead.
