Cambodia Welcomes Peace Agreement in Gaza, Reaffirms Support for Two-state Solution
AKP Phnom Penh, October 17, 2025—The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia (MFAIC) this evening made public a statement, welcoming the Peace Agreement in Gaza and reaffirming its support for the two-state solution.
“The Kingdom of Cambodia welcomes the Peace Agreement in Gaza, signed on 13 October 2025 in Egypt, by President Donald J. Trump of the United States of America, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani of the State of Qatar, and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of the Republic of Türkiye,” read the statement.
“Cambodia commends the leadership of U.S. President Donald Trump and all mediators for their tireless efforts in achieving this outcome and hopes the Peace Agreement will pave the way for a lasting peace and a return to normalcy for both sides,” it underlined.
The MFAIC also reaffirmed Cambodia’s support for the two-state solution and encouraged all parties to pursue dialogue in line with relevant UN resolutions and international law.
