Hundreds of mixed Thai forces have once again violated Cambodian sovereignty in Prey Chan village, O’ Beichoan commune, O’ Chrov district, Banteay Meanchey province.

Armed with weapons and accompanied by bulldozers, Thai forces began clearing land in the area early this morning and continued their activities until noon, according to an AKP reporter at the scene.

The operation took place in the same area where Thai military forces had previously installed barbed wire and placed tires.

Cambodia has reaffirmed its commitment to peacefully resolving the border conflict through utmost restraint, but it reserves the right to defend its national sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as to ensure the safety and security of its citizens in the border region.
