H.E. Prak Sokhonn (L, Pic. 1), Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia, engages in informal talk with H.E. Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Mohamad bin Haji Hasan, Foreign Minister of Malaysia, in New York on Sept. 26, on the sidelines of the General Debate of the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

H.E. Deputy Prime Minister briefed his Malaysian counterpart on the latest updates on the border’s disputes with Thailand and reiterated Cambodia's position to making every effort to de-escalate the tensions, rebuild trust and implement fully and sincerely the recent agreements towards normalisation of Cambodia-Thailand bilateral relations. He expressed appreciation for Malaysia’s ongoing support and proactive engagement in helping to resolve the Cambodia-Thailand border dispute as ASEAN Chair 2025.
