AKP Banteay Meanchey, August 14, 2025 --

The Interim Observer Team (IOT) led by the Malaysian Defence Attaché to Cambodia, Colonel Nazlee Bin Abdul Rahim, and joined by resident and non-resident defence attachés from Brunei, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, the Philippines, and Vietnam, conducts an observation visit to Boeung Trakoun Border Checkpoint in Banteay Meanchey province this afternoon, to assess the developments occurred following the entry into force of the ceasefire agreement and the release of the joint statement during the Extraordinary Cambodia–Thailand General Boundary Committee Meeting (GBC Meeting) held on Aug. 7, 2025 in Malaysia.
