Cambodia Jiu-Jitsu won the Absolute Pro Championship at the AFG Open Championship, held in Bangkok, Thailand, on May 17-18.

The Cambodian Jiu-Jitsu athlete Ms. Map Sokhouy beat her opponents, Ms. Lucy Greenway, who is a black belt athlete from Wales, in an 8-minute contest in the semi-final, and Ms. Mia Foo from Malaysia, by scoring in an 8-minute contest in the final.

According to the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC), the AFG Open Championship was an international sporting event in the Southeast Asian region that attracted the participation of over 1,000 athletes from the region.

The Jiu-Jitsu Federation of Cambodia sent its six athletes to join the tournament, it added.
