Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia, on April 15 sent a condolence message to
H.E. Mrs. TUN Jeanne Abdullah over the passing of her husband, H.E. TUN Dr. Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, 5th prime minister of Malaysia, on Monday.

“The departure of TUN Dr. Abdulah Ahmad Badawi is an immense loss of a wise strategic statesman and a reformist and compassionate leader, who dedicated his nearly entire life not only for the great cause of the happiness and prosperity of the peoples of Malaysia and other ASEAN countries, including Cambodia, but also for the greatest care of his family,” Samdech Techo Hun Sen wrote in his message.

“May his soul rest in peace.

On behalf of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the people of Cambodia, allow me to convey my heartfelt condolences to Your Excellency and your family and through Your Excellency to the Parliament, Government and people of Malaysia, at this moment of great sadness,” he concluded.
