The Ministry of Post and Telecommunications has announced to provide free public WiFi at major locations across Siem Reap province.

“In recognition of the increasing need for internet access among both local and international tourists in Siem Reap—and in response to the positive public feedback—the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications is pleased to provide free public WiFi at key locations across Siem Reap province,” said the ministry on its social media network this afternoon.

These offers include the Angkor Archaeological Park, the night market, and other most-visited public areas throughout the province, the source pointed out. 

Residents and both local and international visitors can easily find these WiFi zones and connect to PUBLIC WIFI BY MPTC or scan the QR Code placed at the designated sites for access points, it added.
