Togolese Foreign Minister Congratulates Cambodia on Rapid Development across All Sectors

Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received here at the Peace Palace this afternoon visiting H.E. Prof. Robert Dussey, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration, and Togolese Abroad of the Republic of Togo.
During the courtesy meeting, H.E. Prof. Robert Dussey expressed his congratulations to Cambodia on her rapid development across various sectors. He praised the Kingdom for being the host of the 20th Francophonie Summit in 2026, and reaffirmed Togo’s support for the success of the hosting.
The Togolese foreign minister briefed Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet on the achievements of bilateral cooperation between both countries’ Foreign Ministries, as well as the fruitful outcomes of his discussions with relevant Cambodian ministries and institutions aimed at exploring opportunities for expanding cooperation and establishing ties between the two countries’ chambers of commerce.
In response, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet thanked the Togolese government for its support to Cambodia’s hosting of the 20th Francophonie Summit. He noted the growing diplomatic relations between Cambodia and Togo over the past 15 years, emphasising that both nations have numerous potential sectors for cooperation expansion, including in the government-to-government and private sector-to-private sector frameworks and as well as people-to-people connectivity.
Both sides also discussed and exchanged experiences in national development, focusing on key areas such as the economy, trade, investment, agriculture, clean energy, and education.
