Angkor Elegances Highlighted on Pages of Stefano Ricci
AKP Phnom Penh, February 28, 2025 --
Angkor Archeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a symbol of Cambodia’s rich culture in Siem Reap province, has appeared on the pages of the luxury clothing brand Stefano Ricci.
The stunning photographs, capturing the Hindu-Buddhist temple complex, are featured with the magazine, showcasing the history, artistry, and spiritual significance in the touristy province of Siem Reap.
Niccolò Ricci, CEO of Stefano Ricci, presented the fashion book here on Feb. 27 to H.E. Neth Pheaktra, Minister of Information, saying that the copies of the fashion books have been distributed to many countries.
H.E. Neth Pheaktra lauded the company’s mission in Cambodia, stressing that this move will contribute to promoting the Kingdoms’ tourism potential to the world.
“During wartime, Cambodia was known as the ‘killing field’ of the Khmer Rouge, but now in the era of peace, Cambodia is well-known as a land of smiles and full of tourism potential, rich in world heritage, and a destination that people want to visit,” he said.
The famed Angkor Archeological Park is the country’s must-visit tourism landscape.
Last year, some 1.02 million foreign tourists visited the park, an increase by 29 percent compared to a year before.
To enhance the experience of international tourists, the state-run Angkor Enterprise has installed automatic ticket machines, eliminating the need for visitors to stand in line for tickets.
These machines are currently available at three locations including 1) at the Angkor Enterprise's main ticket office, 2) Angkor Parvis, and 3) at The Heritage Walk mall, in Siem Reap provincial city.
